Train 43 was the SL Gunmachan in the other direction. The C61s were passenger express rebuilds of the wartime freight 2-8-2 D51 locomotives, to get the restrictions of the US occupation government on new build locomotives. The result was some of the fastest and free streaming express locomotives ever built for narrow gauge. It was a real honor to get to experience it.
