I don't think you realize how hard it is to be publicly GC in America. You are outcast. I don't really care because I am loner and enjoy my company more than anyone else, but other women do. Other women care how they are perceived. Other women don't wanna be harassed.

I once had a conversation about how much I loved JKR with another woman, and the woman was so terrified to say her name.

In the UK you have a support group.
