American liberal women really should be ashamed. I would not say that this one documentary started it all, even in the U.S., but liberal women really did not do enough. The few who are doing things are doing very well – way more than their share. However, this statement by the DW should not have even the little bit of credibility it does.
Ben Shapiro was speaking against “trans” – strongly, including against “preferred pronouns” – when my liberal friends and I were still “being polite.” He was belittled and threatened, but he stood strong. Dennis Prager (of Prager U, rather than the Daily Wire) warned of what was coming, as well. Most of the professionals (teachers and doctors) who speak up are religious conservatives.
Part of the problem is that women cannot get together as much money, so we can’t be heard as widely. However, wealthy, liberal women do manage to be heard about other things.
I believe the Target boycott, which really has been absolutely amazing, is led by conservative women who follow conservative media outlets including the Daily Wire. Men are participating, too, but women often do the family shopping.
I don’t mean to belittle what American feminists are doing at all. As I said, the few who are doing things are wearing themselves to the ground, spending their last dimes, and not getting enough sleep. It’s just that we’re embarrassingly tiny in number.
