Ok that sounds about right, I noticed another person yesterday that I couldn't pay w/ WebLN, and I saw in console that you did try to query his lnurl, so I thought there must be an issue with that one.
How about you checking the lnurl when people enter it in their profile? You could try to generate an invoice for 100 sats and if that fails - notify them. Should help people discover the issue on their end.
There should probably be a bot that would check everyone's LNURLs and notify people if errors are discovered. Adding it to my todo list :)
