Hmmm. Where did you get the idea I was basing things on my local area? Globally there has been a predictable rise in anti-immigrant political parties as climate impacts have exacerbated flows of refugees globally. Support for this parties are similar across countries to what we are seeing here. Rising pluralities in most countries, with some exceptions. I find it interesting that in your math the 60% of whites plus xenophobic non-whites maps onto a majority supporting xenophobic policies - despite the fact that even in white voters only went for Trump at 56% (meaning 33% of voters - which got up to 48% of voters when you add in other groups). If you add in nonvoters, only about 30% of eligible voters supported the xenophobic party. To claim the voice of the people supports the current attempts to remake the system to protect these nationalists is fatuous.
