This. All of this. My kid and his friends want my son dead. I want my son back. It's like constantly walking on eggshells, while simultaneously walking a tightrope. Knowing that I never affirmed him is cold comfort, but at least I didn't contribute to his dissociation even if I've been powerless to stop it.
