I don’t completely agree with the “planned obsolescence” comment. Apple offers official repair solutions for products that are “vintage”but not obsolete.
So it’s possible to get a new battery for products from 2015. That’s a nine year old laptop! 😱
Costs vary from $160-250 including tax.
The question then becomes whether it’s worth replacing the battery in a laptop that’s more than five years old.
