Uncle Coon's Cabin (npub1pg0…7rcu) the problem with palworld combat is that the ai is retarded. i bred a combat jormungandr and like 40% of the time it gets its stupid ass lodged in the geometry and stops doing anything. another 20% of the time it's using its fatass hitbox to knock bosses out of the geometry and forcing me to backtrack back out of the dungeon from the last room
the concept of the human not being particularly important and mostly popping out status effects is the idea in hardmode but it just doesn't work for so many different reasons
hell, beegardes are the most absurdly scary thing on hardmode because implode does enough damage to instantly kill you through your shield, they're faster than you, and the explosion hitbox lingers longer than your iframes. if you aren't on a flier by the time they start the attack you just die
i'm sure they'll figure something out eventually but right now i'm thinking 5x gobfins with vanguard and stronghold strategist is the correct build because it means you don't have to deal with the shit AI
