I found the carnivore diet at the end of 2017. I’m definitely a believer, but I’ve struggled with it over the years because I’ve had key portions of my intestines removed that are important for bile recycling and the high fat and protein diet leads to bile going into my large intestine, where it shouldn’t be. The best thing I did was cut out fruit and vegetables and fiber. I also had a colostomy for a year and I haven’t been the same since. The silver lining of my Crohn’s is that it led me down the nutrition rabbit hole a couple decades ago.
My main regret with being on TRT is that it’s very hard to get off it. I was off for four months and got my hormone production up with the help of Clomid, but I had no sex drive and didn’t feel great. Being so dependent on a pharmaceutical is not a good feeling, especially since 2020. I also think my wife and I missed our window to have kids because it’s basically male birth control. If I was you, I would really think about it before you jump in. Where is your total test right now? Sorry for the lengthy response
