These so called "QA devs" that the higher ups put on my team have received like 5 months of training on our systems and I still have to spend 30+ minutes a day with them in a meeting describing to them how to do their own god damn job. Soul crushing really, especially when they come back not even 5 minutes later and ask a question they already asked during the meeting and still somehow manage to screw up on testing
