Under the hood, the Influence Score is highly configurable. Which means it ought to be straightforward to do what you describe, if I am understanding you correctly.
By highly configurable I mean: the influence score is designed to synthesize data from multiple sources into a single score. Right now, at brainSToRm.ninja I am using follows, mutes, reactions to wiki articles, and explicit, context-specific endorsements that are generated at my site. But if you want to stop using follows and instead use only context-specific endorsements, you can do that. The only reason not to do that is a paucity of data. But once such data becomes more available, you’ll be able to diminish the weight of the follows list gradually until you give it a weight of zero, which means you ignore it completely.
