arcanicanis (nprofile…uk08) I have no experience with semantic triples, but it seems to be borrowing terms from linguistics. Subject/object are used to describe the syntactic role of their referents. "Target," to me, sounds like a semantic descriptor more akin to patient in the agent/patient pair. "Target" is also a little dubious with some predicates: "the soup tastes good" "the soup" feels like it fits better for the "target" of "tastes" than "good" does.
