Well thanks for your post although I don't agree with the things that you propose forward. The idea that 1 individual should have empathy for all things around is a nonsensical idea because at the core of the idea it is that you should have empathy for all living things no matter what and regardless of their creation and or origin. Now if one is to take a realistic and rational look at the amount of time 1 has 1 only has limited time on this planet therefore 1 cannot have unlimited empathy for all things on this earth ,If empathy is the basis for your choice of how you live your life then you are placing an empathy on the things that are outside of yourself thus neglecting the things that you choose for yourself in order to appear virtuous or in harmony with what you believe is mother Earth.

One could argue that in order for you to have empathy in any way shape or form 1 must have a realistical and logical awareness of oneself if you neglect thyself how can you have empathy for that which is around you. All basis of life is created from energy from that of another source. One could also argue that all plants are a form of life and if you truly believe that which you propose that all life is worthy of life Then you wouldn't even eat food that is of plant-based so if you were to truly follow the logic that you were proposing you would literally start yourself to death
