Good morning đ
(I wrote this in the morning and wasn't sure if I would post it... So yes, sometimes I have to share my thoughts in the hope of being understood, even though I know that my view of life is in the minority here on Nostr đ˘)
It's always strange to me how some people ridicule a vegan lifestyle while promoting carnivorism.
But why choose veganism? The reasons are many, and for me, it's simple: no living being should be exploited or die for my survival. It's not about striving for perfectionâjust doing the best I can. My mission is to contribute, in my own way, to making the world a kinder, more empathetic place. A place where compassion flourishes and where health and enjoyment are abundant with a plant-based lifestyle.
Regardless of the diet someone chooses, health is never a given. Itâs essential to build a foundation of knowledge and to prioritize eating fresh, organic, and unprocessed foodsâwhat some might call "clean eating."
If someone believes that a carnivorous diet is right for them, I wonât argue. It serves no purpose. Weâre simply existing on different levels of awareness. Those who align themselves with carnivorous animalsâlions, wolves, tigersâare often focused on personal (or ego-driven) health and believe that to be the right path.
Btw: Animals that are eaten are mostly herbivores themselves, consuming grains, seeds, grasses, etc., which are then also found in their flesh. We humans donât actually need the animals' protein; we need the essential amino acids as building blocks to construct our own proteins (found in all plants).
For me, veganism is tied to spirituality (not religion), empathy, anti-speciesism, and love for Mother Earth, all while nourishing my body in the healthiest way I know.
Saying, âI love animals,â while consuming them feels like hypocrisy, something that doesnât align with my values.
I could list endless reasons why humans arenât designed to be true carnivores, but that would only create more tension and drain my energy. Instead, Iâll simply leave you with this: "Be kind to all kinds" đ
And by the way, there are people who live for months or even years without consuming food and remain perfectly healthy. It all depends on awareness and consciousness.
What needed to be said, has been said. đđź
