Military successes against Imperialism aren't by definition "socialist". A revolution, Marx said, was the masses taking their destiny in their own hands, and that's not something we see in the countries you mention, much less in North Korea, that is a militarized regime. I'm not just saying this, I read that in translations from the DPRK, they themselves say that the army is the center of their system, what keeps the country together.
