Does this feel insane to anyone else? Email is the *safe* way to let people contact you. It doesn't reveal your location, or your phone number, or anything personally identifiable other than the address itself. We put email addresses on fliers and business cards. We put them on 'for sale' sites. We use them to "sign in" to community get-togethers.
How is your email address now dearly-held information?!?!?
