For example, any Guardian article about copyright will always include the copyright maximalist view as the default framing, which is not what you’d expect from a ‘left’ leaning publication but is what you’d expect from an organisation that owns a load of copyrighted material. The differences are more around whose wealth they want to protect than around desires for a specific shape of society. They will print any viewpoint that doesn’t threaten their own wealth.
