While those in the Left might conceivably be (just) left leaning this side of the Atlantic, the Centre looks Right from here & the leaning Right, actually Right.
The Overton window was already to the Right in the US anyway, but this chart suggests mainstream America has little conception what a (real) Left might looks like (in media terms, at least).
