The crossing over is what I’m interested in. They say as a person matures, they start to integrate their inferior function, and I’ve noticed in myself an acceptance of emotions as another tool for me to process and experience the world. Neruda is one of the few poets I actually enjoy. And Burkowski is one I’ve also been keen to explore. And I think you might be right about the narrative, especially if it brings up philosophical questions, which is why I like Ozymandias and most of the poems of Robert Frost I’ve encountered. I’ll check out the Bly stuff. Been enjoying The Sibling Society.
