Great question. So, I think poetry can help you flip to an 'E' or at least you can explore the 'E' side.
I was very 'I' myself and have crossed over.
But I don't think it's needed. It's funny, I searched INTP poetry and it seems you are not alone with your observation.
There is poetry that is more narrative. And some more clever and poignant.
E.e. Cummings and Charles Bukowski for example. If you like Hunter S. Thompson you might like CB.
Try also "Ode to my socks" by Pablo Neruda.
Lastly, I'd encourage anyone to read Robert Bly, start perhaps with the Teeth Mother Naked at Last. Then Counting Small Boned Bodies.
I'd also say don't worry about it too much. Not even a year ago I wasn't into poetry. If it doesn't call to you know, try again, maybe after a significant life event. It will be there, waiting, on the side of the road. Where it's always been.
