Haha yeah I was old school EVE too, went into it kind of knowing what to expect but literally every person I ever tried to get into it with me complained about the NPE 🤷♀️
Elite really is great though, I got into exploration and just wander around, middle of nowhere, scooping fuel from stars and making all kinds of discoveries and never seeing another soul for a year at a time. Perfection lol.
