Yesterday's Man City game feels to me like a corroboration of this observation. Yes, Haaland, scored, improving his goals-to-games ratio from 0.908 to 0.909 — but the fifth goal in a six-goal rout of the division's second worst team is hardly a game-changing intervention.
Again: I would love to see some numerical analysis to back up OR REFUTE my intuition that a lot of Haaland's goals are of the "Stop, he's already dead" variety.
