Never used it or heard of it until now, but seeing footage from it, it reminds me of the adventure editor in Spore: Galactic Adventures, which from what I've heard was inspired by Video Game Tycoon.
There is a good reason why you don't see engines like this for professionals. Event trigger systems are very limited compared to actual programming. This prevents you from actually making your game unique, like having a Paper Mario-style combat system or replacing the turn-base combat with a fighting game style combat system.
