Put the soup through a colander to remove the peels, mussels and veggies, and keep at hand warm while you stir fry the potatoes and the flavor base.

So after the potatoes and the mix smell fragrant, but before the potatoes start to really fry, toss the clean soup in. Bring to a boil, turn the stove down to a low flame, and cook for 25-30 minutes.
