I don't think there is a correlation, the billion+ dollar makeup industry will always have more reach and popularity over feminism. But cosmetics advertising has gotten really really bad, that is true. Every child has a smartphone and is on the accursed apps (insta/tiktok/damn them all) where the algorithm is trying to convince 10 year olds and teens that they need snail creams and anti-aging serums and all that. Targeted advertising is super aggressive, and unfortunately child celebrities aren't banned yet.
