I think that with the growth of feminist ideas in the world, cosmetics are becoming more and more attractive. What is the reason for this? I think it may be due to the fact that cosmetics used to be taken for granted - you could be sold a regular black cylinder of dark mascara and you would buy it, because it was not the mascara itself that was important, but the fact that it was on your face. So, with the prevalence of the idea that makeup is not needed on the face, marketers needed to keep an audience for themselves, and they began to attract with such designs and packaging. Now, even if a girl knows that she does not need makeup, the first thought when she sees this work of art is "I want to have this." And why she needs this eyeshadow palette, she does not even have time to think, most likely this set of cosmetics will lie on the shelf with the rest.
In fact, I started to notice this behavior in myself, when I would watch a video and I would see an advertisement for cosmetics (and I swear, it was all so aesthetic, as if I had watched a movie, that I couldn't help but say "wow"). I have long since given up on makeup, but I began to notice that when I see something like this, I want to buy it? And it's strange, because these are unconscious thoughts, only after I ask myself why I need this cosmetics and understand that there is no need, the desire disappears; but many girls without experience of giving up makeup will not even ask themselves - they will just buy it. This is a dangerous marketing ploy
