Also, do not put the camera behind a window. The IR illuminator on the Tapo C420 can’t be shut off, and will blind the camera if it reflects off a window. So much for seeing the deer chomping our plants. I did manage to turn on the visible spotlights and scare off a bunny that was chomping on one of the plants we transplanted today, though.
