I believe that NIP05 solves this problem. Instead of sharing public keys, you share a NIP05 address, which then requests the pubkey + a list of relays you post to from the domain in the address. This is also a lot more user friendly as opposed to these 32-bit random data keys that nobody outside of tech would understand.
