In his letter to the church at Rome, the apostle also wrote: “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.” (Romans 5:8-10)

Thankful? Oh, my! Beyond my ability to describe it in human language. Yes, yes, yes. I am so very thankful to God for saving me from what would surely have been my eternal future. I am so very thankful to God for loving me so much that He gave me His only begotten Son – so that, in believing and obeying Jesus – I will have eternal life.

So, what about you? Are you thankful to God for what Jesus did for you? Then don’t neglect to tell Him.
