Also, a decade ago I created this 4x display setup, because for testing all the virtual environments it helps to run different browsers in separate sessions - so I often run 4x of Firefox, Brave, Chromium and I do not need to switch between the virtual desktops.
Although not on the list by cjd I run pip quite extensively, and although I'm not a coder I use database projects, even some web-based like Web2Py.
All this on VirtualBox or in ProxMox lxc, and I cannot tell is I ever came across a "bug".
YunoHost "apps" are also not "buggy", but migrating from one Debian release to the next is always a disaster, I would not recommend it. Over the years I never used any app in the YunoHost catalog that did not choke during or after migration.
I might find some YT video to watch a development pro setting up his environment and coding, so I know what you guys talking about. I only host infrastructure pieces, databases, webforms and such coded by other people.
