Joseph Meyer on Nostr: WalletHub rankings consider "affordability, economy, education, health, quality of ...

WalletHub rankings consider "affordability, economy, education, health, quality of life, and safety" which seem similar to the metrics used by U.S. News. They put Massachusetts on top with New Jersey ranked 3rd and New Hampshire ranked 5th. Oddly, the seemingly disparate states of Idaho and Pennsylvania are ranked 6th and 7th. Don't like Philadelphia? Maybe you'd like Boise better. In between are Florida at 2nd and Utah at 4th, two states where I would not want to live or visit, but which do seem to share the commonality of archaic religious beliefs. The high ranks of those two states seem weird to me and reinforce my belief that ranking publications are pretty useless in general. Maybe the folks who work at WalletHub are religious. WalletHub agrees with U.S. News that New Mexico is 49th and puts California and Texas at 29th and 36th, respectively, basically flipping them compared to the U.S. News rankings and giving them similar ranks in comparison to each other and other states.
