Hank G ☑️ (npub1agu…j0sk) One weakness of using calories as a measure of diet is that (say) 100 calories of refined sugar and 100 calories of lentils are *identical* so far as calories are concerned, but their nutritional value and their impact on the body differ substantially.
A few years ago, I switched to a plant-based diet of *whole foods* (no refined foods, not ultraprocessed foods), and used Greger's Daily Dozen to ensure a good variety and distribution. That has worked well.
