We don’t want to have excess deaths, so we’re just going to change how we calculate excess deaths.
We want to pretend that everything is fine despite years of this mass disabling event, we’re going to go ahead and redefine what it means to be in a recession. It’s fine.
We even changed the definition of what it means to be hospitalized by covid. Once all the cancer cases from Covid start to show up I fully expect they will decide to only call people “cancer patients” if they are currently getting chemotherapy. That way they don’t have to admit what they did to society.
