It's about reflexively policing *who* gets to define what racism it and isn't. That's the point of deriding POC for pointing it out.
If I (hypo-melanated) am permitted to define racism, I will always set the boundary *just beyond* my own thoughts and actions. Instinctually, I know this will protect my self-image from the shame of being racist.
