It is understanding the problem space. Modeling it in a way that can be put into code efficiently and robustly. Thinking about how to set up the architecture of the whole thing (something that usually depends on a lot of experience that you built up over time). The typing doesn't matter too much.
Now AI automates the typing but nudges people not to do the actual work. And that will be very costly in the medium term when people realize that someone has to maintain those things.
