Frankly, simultaneously writing the last 1 TB of data onto two otherwise completely full 4TB SMR disks - resulting in pauses in writing, radical shifts in write speeds, etc. - is the kind of excitement my heart can do without.
I’m hoping I can find more of these locally in the future… and that SMR is on its way out.
