FourOh-LLC (nprofile…08ze) a decade ago I created this 4x display setupI run one of those on my desktop right now! In general, on X11, it has not given me any issues to set them up right and get everything working just as desired. I'm testing out Wayland once more, and I've not yet found a wallpaper application that properly handles have 2 portrait monitors, and 2 landscape monitors. If I were to use all monitors in landscape, it would be bug-free for me.
And I think that's one of the hard parts, the uncountable different ways in which people like their setups. Its impossible to test for each and every one of them. The more complex and geared towards your very specific niche you want to get, the more likely you are to encounter bugs.I might find some YT videoI would personally suggest you check out blog posts instead. In my personal experience, those have much better explanations and way more complex setups. Part of this may be because "back in the day" it was more common for these level of nerds to host a website and chat about their setups, YouTube wasn't really a thing. That's just pure speculation on my part, though. There may be various other reasons, perhaps they're more introvert and don't like being on camera, perhaps I just never looked around hard enough for YT channels because my RSS feed has always kept me satisfied with tech content.
What also might work is look up people's dotfile repos. Some people put a lot of effort into their setups, and share it freely to show off, or to simply be able to give examples to other people.
