You never want to just blend in with the crowd, you need to stand out. You need to be special to rise the social ranks. Instead of the boomers that just had to compete with their own local community, the youth has to compete with the whole world in a game that is rigged against them. Sure we can try to fix the game (get rid of h1b’s), but regardless it’s all on the individual to adapt and sink or swim.
