I always liked how some languages have third person pronouns that are non-gendered. For example in Turkish "who is she?" "Who is he?" And "who is that?" Could all be reasonably translated to "O kim?" The gendered grammer seems like a holdover from the Roman empire.

When I was young I thought societally we would grow towards less pronouns not more. Because I really don't care about what's in anyone's pants or what their philosophical perspective on genitalia is. All I want is to know is... did they send sats?
