This pronoun shit is just laughable. Someone wanting to be called they/them. I remember a very famous case of someone who the they/them scenario might have fit. The story was about Sybil, a woman who had multiple personality syndrome. That's mental illness.
Another thing I bet would have loved to be called they/them. That would be the demon called Legion, for they are many.
