I’m calling myself the publisher here at Pikopublishing, which is a publishing imprint coming very soon to a reality of some sort

I’m a designer, photographer, visual artist and sound synthesist and I also write things, and starting in 2024 I’m a magazine editor/publisher – yep, back to print

In the mornings I go for a cycle on my white bicycle and take photos around London’s Docklands and the River Thames

My lovely wife is a Jamaican, I’m in my early 60s, when I was young I imagined I’d be a pop star by now, that was the plan (the only plan to be honest)

I studied product design and photography, became a professional photographer before concentrating on a print design background (and pretty much inventing digital repro for computer games mags in the 80s)

I know about XHTML, CSS, SVG, I know nothing about JavaScript and will never touch it, I hate programming because it never ever works

Cars kill people slowly and sometimes quickly

I’ve been on the fediverse in one place or another since about 2017 (I migrated to here from a firefish instance ff.pikopublishing.page which I’ll be retiring because I don’t intend to renew that domain at Gandi (the this instance and that instance both run on the same Raspberry Pi 4)

I don’t spend time thinking that things used to be better, I’m far more interested in how things will become better
