I don't know the context of your post, but of course mutex is useful in JS.
If you have an async function inside your function, you could need a mutex
Simple example is spend money, call this function 2 times in a short time and your user could spend money he doesn't have

Ça fait maintenant plus plusieurs années que je vais mal mentalement suite à un événement qui s’est produit dans ma vie.
Une des conséquences c’est que je n’ai presque plus aucune motivation pour travailler sur mes projets persos.
J’ai pourtant des idées plein la tête, mais impossible de me lancer.
De temps en temps ça m’arrive d’avoir des petits élans de motivation, mais ça retombe assez vite.
J’ai tenté de rebondir récemment en annonçant que je voulais refaire bips.xyz, j’ai lâché le lendemain.
Je voulais juste le partager. J’ai écrit ça à chaud sans réfléchir.
C’est pour ça que je ne suis absolument plus productif depuis un bon moment.
J’espère revenir vite avec des nouveaux projets à présenter. 🙏

The current version of https://bips.xyz (and https://nips.nostr.com) was made in just a few hours by reusing some code from the previous version.
I wanted to do it without a database to make it easy for anyone to host without constraints. I think that was a mistake.
I don’t really like this version, and I’m ashamed of it.
I will rebuild it from scratch soon.
🎯 What kind of features would you like to see in the next version?
Here are mine:
- A better search engine
- The ability to easily add more specs, like @nprofile…6tzn's Cashu NUTs
- The ability to see previous versions of the specs
- New design

You could probably just forget versioning. If your profile is hosted on a webserver, like on .well-known page, you know it's the latest version. So if your profile is overwritten on some relays by a client, you still can rely on the .well-known version and publish this version.

A new type of relay has just appeared. It deletes events right after they have been 'queried' by a user. Useful for very specific applications where no traces are desired, like shh.com from @npub1zxe…e9y7

Comme l'a dit @npub1hkl…3u2k c'est sûrment pleins de poussières. Il va falloir gratter avec un petit truc en métal comme une aiguille. J'ai eu le même problème avec un port lightning d'apple, et je dois avouer que c'est bien plus simple à nettoyer que l'usb-c...
(la soufflette n'avait eu aucun effet, c'était trop compact)

I was bored, so I tried using Passkeys to generate a Nostr account.

Ok, it's an oauth2 login flow. When you "Login with Google/Apple/Github/..." it uses the protocol Oauth2.
Instead of having Google/Apple/... as source of identity, nostr can be this source of identity. It's "Login with Nostr" protocol for traditional websites (TIDAL could uses this for example)

Should I revive zerologin.co?
It was an LNURL-Auth authentication server using a custom login flow.
I have had something new in mind for a few months and I've decided to share this on Nostr after reading this article https://hivemind.vc/identity/ from @npub18lz…ugm3
🎯 Adding Nostr as a source of identity using OAuth2 + OpenID Connect flow.
1- Service.com asks for login using OAuth2 with Google, Twitter, ..., Nostr (through Zerologin.co).
2 - User chooses Nostr, gets redirected to zerologin.co with an OAuth2 login flow.
3 - Instead of typing email + password (like using Google if not already connected), User can log in using Nostr (NIP-98, bunker, or any other methods).
4 - Zerologin redirects back to service.com with an authenticated token.
It's not for a Nostr app like Primal, Coracle, etc.
This service should be used by traditional services where accounts are managed by the service itself.
What do you think? Nostr as identity for traditional websites
Zerologin could also still be usable with LNURL-Auth with this Oauth2 flow.

What's the good way to check if a bolt11 has been paid in a cashu mint, without issuing a cashu token?

Here is something I wish I had for a long time.
1 account and unlimited LN address aliases (+ labels) like anonymous ln.tips address 0x0000@ln.tips
I could create an anonymous ln address for each non kyc services I use that support ln address (eg. lnmarkets.com nicehash.com etc).
Is it something you could implement? If not, it's probably something I could start.
