I'm Maple, I'm almost 36 yrs old, I'm disabled and intersex/trans.

 I'm plural, so if it seems like my personality is all over the place, that's because I'm polyfragmented and have DID. I'm okay, don't worry.

I'm a Qur'anist school Muslim, and I'm learning Arabic. I hope to build my own personal Liberationist Exegesis of the Qur'an through the lens of my lived experiences of having been a homeless minority. ( I am still a minority, I just live indoors now.)

My background culture is mainly Mexican-American with some elements of East Asian cultures. my genetics do not match that cultural background. Pale complexion notwithstanding, I am not "white" and as an identity concept, I reject it vehemently for exactly the same reason that anyone might reject a very broad label that erases their unique cultural and ancestral identity.

I speak American Vernacular English as my mother tongue, and am functional in Spanish and Japanese. I have also studied German, Mandarin, Cherokee, Hebrew, Old Norse, Classical Latin, and Cebuano seriously but never gained fluency. As previously mentioned, I am currently learning Arabic (Qur'anic and the Modern Standard Dialect).

My major special interests are all facets of human material culture and the environment we live in.
