DeSci is becoming a recent narrative hotspot. Influenced by CZ, Binance has started active promotion, and the DeSci community has become noticeably more vibrant. However, in practice, Nostr is a more effective protocol for supporting academic publishing and peer review.
At the DeSci Summit in Denver (February 2024), we shared how Yakihonne’s “Verify Notes” feature facilitates peer review. At that time, most DeSci projects still relied on IPFS and AR protocols. Interestingly, during a session organized by whabbit (npub1lgf…dcr6) at Labitconf 2024, #DeSci Latam and Yakihonne had an in-depth interview exploring DeSci topics, aiming to raise awareness of Nostr’s potential among researchers.
In fact, Nostr can support research across various academic topics Rabble (npub1wmr…g240) . We have formed a research sino focusing on Nostr-related studies and plan to publish our work in academic journals.
