OK so the bill seems to offer solid concessions in a place like America, but not for Europe. The proposed law highlights are:
-Extending residency requirements to five years for citizenship
-Ending birthright citizenship
-Curtailing chain migration through "family reunification"
-Restricting welfare benefits to citizens
-Foreign students who run out of money for tuition don't get free education to finish their degree
-Illegal residency becomes a deportable offense again
-Removing restrictions on deportation for criminals who are dual-citizens
It remains to be seen if Macron can police his majority to pass this, but obviously they're worried about the current situation to offer this bill as concessions.

quoting note1cag…tw8uSo apparently Macron is about to sign some immigration law people are throwing a shit fit over, a bunch of ministers are threatening to resign. I'm still looking for the text but I doubt it's "they all have to go back".
