The US empire will seek to dollarise the West, that’s what a new multipolar order will push them to.
If your nation state wants to be under “US protection” (ie a subservient vassal whose ‘democratically elected leaders’ ask how high when Washington says jump), you will completely fall in line not just militarily as has been the case in the unipolar world, but economically also.
If the US needs to wreck you to satisfy their oligarchs (hello Nordstream) then you better get ready to be fucked over. Basically the IMF/World Bank model that extracted wealth out of developing countries is going to come to the West and there’s not much anyone will be able to do about it.
People of the world would be better off if the US collapsed into Civil War and focussed the destructive energy internally but likely the neocon class will export it to exploit everyone else for their gain.
Things are gonna get bumpy. I don’t plan to stick around to see how deep Australian politicians can get American boots down their throats.
