Bitcoin conferences don't need more women-only events to attract more women to the space. What they actually need is to encourage all women to participate in all events, rather than isolating them.
We often complain that men don’t know how to treat us or don't engage with women.
But instead of isolating ourselves at exclusive brunches, why don't we show up, make ourselves visible, and let them know we're here? It’s uncomfortable to be alone, but it’s easier to lead by example when we're together in numbers.
Men also have a responsibility to call out inappropriate behavior. However, isolating ourselves doesn’t create a truly safe space; it creates a bubble.
