Editing our website is our biggest roadblock. Also, we do not want to connect our #nostr npub to payments on the website, so we are obliged to just show that we are on #nostr but the interested parties must just figure it out after that, if they want to pay in Sats 丰 . It is, at present, far from perfect. Or, in the words of the total badass Kajoozie Maflingo (npub1xsw…p4xw) , it kinda sucks. We are in a different place than the young gins on this protocol, so we do not need to have a flawless web interface, but it could be waaay better. Your idea sounds ideal!
quoting note1fnk…2pdmI'm doing some freelance website building again.
My customers keep asking for an easy way to edit and publish content (events, articles, products, ...) on their website.
There are obviously many existing options but they always involve some crappy combo of:
- me taking on huge amounts of hosting and account management
- them paying rent to the Shopifys of the world
- the freaking complexity of combining FOSS tools (or working with WordPress etc...)
Obviously, I keep wondering about just giving them an #nsec instead.
Allows them to just publish edits / content without any account system having to be online.
Allows me to run sites on relays and blossom servers.
