I'm liking this platform a little more after having a look around.

I exited all socials and have been 'offline' for such a long time. I craved human connection that wasn't existing in the online space.

I've since found a group of good humans and it's growing thanks #richfutur.

I had/have a voice but was too scared to share it because I didn't know who was reading or if I wasn't relevant enough would I be deleted.

This place feels like a fresh start.

I've decided to start blogging and uploading video's of my journey of learning about plants and how to use them.

I have had a craving for a longer time that I can remember to know what plants are what and how do we use them as medicine. Our ancestors would have known and passed it onto their children but somehow along the way it seems to have been lost in societies at least in the Western world anyway.

I have a Mauritian background with an Australian upbringing and I know my father and grandmothers knew what to do when they had an ailment. I remember growing up and there were countless ways to remedy ourselves.

I want to learn to be able to teach my kids so it's this knowledge isn't lost.

I have a hungry curiosity genuinely about how they work and I don't think I'm alone.

I'm sure there are plenty of people out there who would prefer to heal themselves without reaching for another pill.

I'll just get started in my next post. I don't have a structure for this but I plan on meeting elders and asking questions and documenting it with the best way I know.

It's not supposed to be perfect but I'm going to learn and hope that anyone that wants to will follow along too.

To our health x
