Yes apple banned damus note zaps immediately after I added top zaps for walker (npub1cj8…rz4u) ‘s zapvertising talk at prague.
I always assumed it was because someone at apple got notified because of that? Not sure though. Thats why i removed top zaps to be safe. Advertising on posts with zaps may have triggered some kind of “selling digital content” reasoning. I only have speculations because i still don’t really understand why zaps are selling digital content.
